Hey all,
I've noticed that this board has grown since I've joined, and I'm just wondering what people are working on? Like fictional stories, experimental, and so on...

I'm starting my 1st all super 8 short film project next month. Still planning at the moment but i'd say it will be fictional & experimental in places. The story is going to be about lucid dreaming, so it's a great excuse for lots of bizarre dream sequences amongst other things!

well i'm attempting to shoot skateboarding. i'm already pretty knowledgeable about it and i'm really into it. so far i've shot only on 3CCD mini DV cameras but im trying to shoot some super8 for maybe a film montage or something. i still have yet to actually shoot any super 8, but that should change when i get my first cartridge of film in the mail next week.

Nice!
I've shot some music video stuff, as well as experimental. I plan on shooting a mock surrealist piece this summer.

Still working on my horror flick, more like a Twilightzone than a slacker flick. It's a short some back story mostly Super 8, planning on shooting some in Super 16.
Hope to you this to line up some dp gigs. It sure would be easier warring a few less hats, since I never wanted to be a Director! What's holding me up is finding is finding a woman in her mid-30's that looks something like my daughter!
Wish we would have a few more film friendly

This might sound kind of weird, but if you're close to a big film city, sign up as a background extra for a crowd scene. When you have a couple hundred people in one place, it's amazing how easy it is to find look-a-likes.

Today I recieved my first roll of K40 back from my Nizo 801M, and it looks great. I'm hoping to shoot a short 60s period comedy entirely on b/w Super 8 (haven't decided the stock yet because the script isn't done). Now I'm just waiting for my second roll to come back: a wild sync test.
Incidentally, some US folk have mentioned that their Kodak film has been returned from Canada. Well, I'm in Canada and mine was returned from New Jersey. Weird.

I'm focusing on building a reel comprised of music videos, PSA's, and speck TV spots. Some will be done with S8 and the rest probably in 16mm(and maybe 35mm!). Allready I got a gig of doing a video for a local band after showing them some of my super 8 footage. So things are looking up pretty well.

I've only just got my camera but I'm looking at filming some skateboard footage, some music videos and a few shorts.
Some experimental, some funny, some just out right clever. Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry and Chris Cunningham are like my idols so you can tell where I'm coming from.
I've got some many ideas swimming around just got to get them out there. And Super 8 is the best way to do it.

I'm finally finishing my trailer for BLACK FOREST which I started last summer, and had to stop when the weather got crappy.
I'm shooting it on 16mm, using a CP16R.
